Smartframe 3000 is an innovative chassis concept for tandem or tridem trailers such as self-loading wagons, forage wagons and manure spreaders.
Technical characteristics
Ease of installation: SmartFrame 3000 has been conceived as a modular solution onto which the trailer chassis can be directly installed, with significant economical benefits during assembly.
Lightness and strength: The structure of the SmartFrame 3000 was studied in order to optimise the stiffness to weight ratio.
This gives the manufacturer a wide range of options in terms of trailer configuration.
A solution for everyone: GKN’s knowledge in the area of vehicle axles and chassis allows the manufacturer to concentrate on their own competences, typically with respect to the functionality of the machines.
Completeness: SmartFrame 3000 is supplied complete with braking system (parking and service brake), ALB, and, depending on the final solution, is equipped with hydraulic and pneumatic braking systems and/or hydraulic system for the steering axles.
